Swap watermelon for your favourite fruit.

Equipment Needed

Measuring cups, food processor, small pan, squeeze bottle, strainer and a bowl

Instructions

Dice the watermelon and purée it in a food processor.

Strain the watermelon purée through a fine mesh sieve and place it in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.

Add the xylitol sweetener and whisk to combine until the sweetener has completely dissolved. 

Transfer the mixture to a squeeze bottle and let cool completely in the fridge. 

Rinse out the food processor and reset.

Add the ice and purée until it becomes like snow (about 30 seconds).

Portion the shave ice into individual bowls and drizzle with 2 to 3 tablespoons of watermelon syrup per portion. Serve and enjoy!
