The granola can easily burn and will need to be stirred often.

Equipment Needed

Measuring cups and spoons, roasting pan, mason jars and a funnel


Preheat the oven to 350°.

In a roasting pan, place the rolled oats, pumpkin seeds, pecan pieces, walnut pieces, sunflower seeds, coconut, flax seeds, cinnamon, coconut sugar, coconut oil, vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix thoroughly with your hands.


Transfer to the oven and roast for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring every 3 to 5 minutes to ensure an even roasting.

When golden brown, remove the roasting pan from the oven and let cool 10 minutes. While slightly warm, add the dried fruit and mix again.

1. Add almond milk and sliced bananas for a great cereal.

2. Take 2 cups of the granola and add ½ cup of dark chocolate chunks to make trail mix.

3. Take 1 cup of vanilla yogurt, add fresh berries and a half cup of granola to make a parfait.
