If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can bake this dish in an oven at 300° for 3 hours, add the pasta and cook for an additional 30 minutes.Equipment Needed
Measuring cups and spoons, slow cooker, knife, cutting board, pot and a ladle
Instructions
Dice the onion and chop the garlic.
In a thick bottomed pot over high heat, add the ground beef, onion, garlic and olive oil.
Sautée for approximately 10 minutes, or until the beef is browned and onions are soft.
Transfer to the slow cooker.
Add the Italian seasoning, paprika, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, vegetable broth and a liberal seasoning of salt and pepper to taste.
Stir well and cook on high for 4 hours.
When the mixture has been cooking for 3 hours, add the power greens and the dry macaroni.
Stir well and cook for an additional hour (4 hours total).
When done, add the grated cheese and stir until it melts.
Serve and enjoy!
