Omit the collagen powder to make this recipe vegan

Equipment Needed

Mini blender, sauté pan, ladle, spatula, glass, reusable straw.


Create the berry purée

Place all ingredients into a sauté pan and stir well to combine. Next cook over med-high heat for 10-15 minutes or until berries are beginning to break down.

Now mash mixture with a potato masher until no big chunks remain, remove from heat, let cool, then purée until smooth in a mini blender and then transfer into a squeezy bottle or an airtight container.  This purée is enough to make 4  individual smoothies.

Create the shake

Place frozen sliced banana, peanut butter, and oat milk into the mini blender and purée until smooth.

Put it all together

Squirt 2 tablespoons worth of your berry purée in the bottom of a glass, next add half of your banana peanut butter shake, then layer 2 more tablespoons of the berry purée, and top with the remaining half of the banana peanut butter shake, sprinkle the top with the chopped peanuts, and add a straw and a frozen raspberry for garnish.  

Enjoy immediately, The berry purée will last up to a week in your fridge.
