If you like lamb, try swapping it for the turkey. It works great!

Equipment Needed

Measuring cups and spoons, knife, cutting board, barbecue or grill pan, large mixing bowl and a lifter for burgers

Instructions

Preheat a barbecue or grill pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, oats, crumbled feta, chopped kalamata olives, onion powder, garlic powder and oregano. Mix well, then form into 6 burger patties.

Let the patties rest in the fridge for 30 minutes before grilling. 

While the burgers are resting, slice the cucumber and the tomato into 6 slices.

Toast the buns. 

Grill the patties for 5 to 7 minutes per side. 

To build the burgers, add 1 tablespoon of tzatziki sauce on each bun bottom. 

Add the lettuce, patties, tomatoes and cucumbers. 

Top each toasted bun with another tablespoon of tzatziki sauce. 

Serve these burgers with our potato salad and enjoy!
