This rub/sauce is also delicious on chickenEquipment Needed
Mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons, parchment paper, aluminum foil, small saucepan, whisk
Instructions
Mix all rub ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine.
Season ribs liberally on both sides and pat seasoning in to help it stick to the ribs.
Place ribs onto parchment paper and fold into a tight package, wrap with two layers of aluminum foil then transfer to a baking sheet. Bake wrapped ribs in a preheated 325 degree oven for 2 hours.
While ribs cook, prepare barbecue sauce by adding all sauce ingredients into a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Sauce should be thick and sticky.
After 2 hours remove ribs from oven and unwrap. Let cool for 10 minutes then cover the back side of the ribs with barbecue sauce. Now preheat the grill to medium heat and place the ribs on the grill back side down, next add sauce to the other side and let cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce sets. Remove from grill and enjoy immediately!
