In line with our commitment to Member success and with a focus on the long-term success of our Associates and Clubs, we recently notified affected Members via email (and letter for those without an email on file) of a small dues increase.

Why did my Membership dues change?  

Increasing Membership dues/prices is a standard business practice that many companies, like ours, implement due to increasing costs due to factors such as inflation.  

This slight increase – our first increase for existing Members in over 10 years – will support our continued investment in a number of areas, including but not limited to: 

  • Technology - We’re continuously adding to our digital offerings, which include a growing library of virtual classes, workouts and training plans available to all Members on our App. We are also working on additional features to enhance Member experience inside and outside the Club.
  • Safety and Experience - Through the execution and evolution of our GoodLife Standard, we’re committed to ensuring that you have a safe place to comfortably and confidently pursue your fitness goals.    
  • Equipment and OfferingsWe continue to seek out impactful programming and amenities to enhance our Member experience. This includes the introduction of exclusive partnerships with REGYMEN and Craft Boxing, as well as the expansion of Recovery Rooms at select locations, and continued updates to our existing strength and cardio equipment. 
  • Our people Our Associates are at the heart of our Members’ success. We’re investing in our current Associates and bringing on hundreds of new caring and certified fitness professionals across Canada

When will this new amount come out of my account?  

Your payment date(s) will stay the same as they are now. Your payment amount will change on your first scheduled payment withdrawal date on or after October 31, 2022.  

How much are current Membership prices for new Members? 

Our current Membership prices are available for review on our website https://www.goodlifefitness.com/membership.html   

I would like to make changes to my Membership, what are my options: 

Members have two efficient options to make changes to their Membership.   

Option 1: Use the Member Portal to make changes to your Membership. Once logged in, go to My Account > Profile > *scroll down* > Manage Subscription.  

Option 2: Call or visit your local Club. GoodLife Associates are able and ready to help make changes to your Membership.  

The options available to you through the portal or by contacting the Club are based on your Membership type. In order to be fair to all Members, each person will continue to use the contractual freeze options available for their specific Membership type.
