We made a commitment to our Members and Associates to do better – to support, uplift and empower the BIPOC community that makes us who we are.

Commemorating Black History Month is an important part of that journey, to build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment - for today and the future. Throughout the month of February we will be celebrating Black History Month by recognizing the legacy and achievements of Black people throughout Canada's history.

We will also be acknowledging the injustices and oppression Black people in Canada have faced in the struggle for freedom, equality and justice. Some of our Associates have shared what Black History month means to them, and why it's important that we be a part of the conversation.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this important month, to raise awareness of Black history in Canada and to learn more about the unique challenges faced by diverse Black communities in Canada. All February long, follow our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels for more Black History Month content.

Let us know what #BlackHistoryMonth means to you, and how you plan to celebrate this month.
