Self-confidence is a powerful tool that can help in many different aspects of life. It allows you to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment in a positive way. Exercise can build self-assurance by helping you realize and appreciate your potential strength and abilities. However, building that spirit is a process that sometimes requires a little help.

Melissa spent most of her life believing she didn’t matter. She was unhappy with her body and her mood reflected her lack of self-esteem.

Wanting to make a change, but aware she didn’t have the knowledge or confidence to get by on her own, she signed up for personal training.

With the help of her personal trainer, Deon, Melissa managed to go from 285 pounds to 155 pounds, from a size 22 to a size 6 and from 54 per cent body fat to 28 eight per cent body fat. The physical transformation is undeniable but more importantly, when she looks in the mirror she likes what she sees. Her new found confidence has given her a new outlook and she’s not only healthier but happier as well.

Similar to Melissa’s story, Samia paired up with a personal trainer because she didn’t have the knowledge or motivation to do things on her own accord. She was overwhelmed when she stepped foot into a gym and wanted to get more comfortable in that setting.

Working with Navdeep, she began to see a change not only in her appearance but her mind set as well. She gained the confidence to join different Group Fitness classes or do a solo work out on her own when she wasn’t working with her personal trainer.

Samia’s transformation is apparent, she’s happier and more confident than ever, has the tools she needs to live a healthy lifestyle and has the energy to keep up with her children.
