This year GoodLife turns 38 – it’s amazing to consider that it’s been in existence for almost four decades! We would not have made it this far if not for the dedication, passion and commitment from our members and associates. That is why GoodLife is still here after all these years – because of 38 years of inspirational life-changing stories, all done through exercise.

It seems like only yesterday when the first club opened in 1979, a former Nautilus club, on a street corner in the city of London, Ontario. Since then it has grown considerably and provides the opportunity for 1.3 million Canadians to live a balanced, fit and healthy lifestyle.

After many years together it’s easy to look back and reflect on all the wonderful memories. But I often get questions on what the future holds for GoodLife. Well, you can bet that we are always developing new and innovative exercise programs. We'll keep our facilities fresh and exciting where we can offer the latest and greatest equipment, classes and programming.

We will maintain our commitment to communities and support of organizations that promote health and fitness and sponsor many charity fitness events, coast to coast.

This includes the relationship with the University Health Network, a GoodLife cardiac rehabilitation initiative, located in Toronto where we are in partnership with some of the top doctors and rehab experts in the world!

We will continue to support the GoodLife Kids Foundation in their purpose for every Canadian kid to have the opportunity to live a fit and healthy good life. In fact, this past March they held another successful Spin4Kids event, which GoodLife associates and members are active supporters in. GoodLife will continue to cover 100 per cent of the administrative and operational expenses so that every dollar raised will make the biggest impact on the lives of Canadian kids.

Now, I can’t predict the future but two things are for sure, my sincere thanks to the generations of GoodLifers for a wonderful 38 years, and my commitment to the future generations to come. From all of us at GoodLife we look forward to many more birthdays together and wish our members a fit and healthy good life.
